The St. John Vianney framed print commemorates The Year For Priests (June 19, 2009 – June 19, 2010). Universally known as Cure of Ars, St. John Vianney is the patron of priests. Ordained in 1815, he was made parish priest of Ars, where his reputation as a confessor and director made him known throughout the Christian world. He died on August 4, 1859 and was canonized on May 31, 1925.
