Heartwood Creek

Rich Tradition of Folk Art & Cheerful Patterns

Jim Shore's Heartwood Creek® combines a rich tradition of folk art with intricate quilt-like patterns and warm country colors. His own down-to-earth personality is reflected in each distinctive piece. MOSACK'S stocks a wide assortment of Heartwood Creek, including Santa Claus figurines, angels, snowmen, Easter items, animals, ornaments, lamps, nativities, dishes, candles, and more.

Browse MOSACK'S site to find Jim's well-known Santa Claus figurines with original designs; snowmen with friendly faces and cheerful patterns that make these whimsical winter friends a welcome sight, and ornaments galore to adorn your tree.

Nativities, centering on our Lord, are in unique color combinations and styles crafted with intricate patterns. Remembering that faith is at the center of the Christmas season, MOSACK'S also stocks Christmas angels, which add their own unique brand of holiday warmth to festive decor.

There are harvest themes of pilgrims, pumpkins, cornucopia, and angels that celebrate Thanksgiving, the most traditional of American holidays. These pieces bring the warmth of the feast to life through color, sentiment, and design.

“Art is something I’ve done all my life. It’s what I’ve loved and the only thing I ever wanted to do. Not only do I get to do what I love, I get to share it with people around the world. I’ve been given a tremendous gift and I thank God for it every day.”

~Jim Shore

Jim discovered his appreciation for art from his artistic parents and his grandmother, a master quilter. He studies engineering and received a degree in business—not art. He honed his skills as a sculptor and painter in his spare time.

After several false starts, he founded his own company, Designs of America, to market his sculptures. Within three years, Designs of America had over 350 employees and Jim decided to bring on a partner organization. In 2000, Jim joined forces with Enesco to create the Jim Shore line of seasonal and home accessories.
