Journey to Bethlehem  Joseph learned he was required to travel to Bethlehem and pay the Census tgaxes.  He worried about the difficult journey.  Mary was near her time for giving birth.  The couple packed food and a goatskin filled with water.  Mary and Joseph wrapped their heavy cloaks over their tunics, gave a few handfuls of barley to the donkey and set off for Bethlehem.
