Station at The Gardens at St. Patrick’s in Maysville, KY
Our customer called on Mosack’s to provide the magnificent life-size bronze statuary for the wonderful Gardens at St. Patrick’s in Maysville, KY, depicting the 15 Stations of the Cross, including Jesus Ascending into Heaven. We are grateful to being included in this Christ-centered project, directing pilgrims to the love of the Trinity in granting us salvation. His Eminence Cardinal Timothy Dolan blessed these sculptures today, April 1, 2026.

The life-size bronze statues have not yet arrived from Italy for the Station XIV. On the rock tomb that is shown here, there will be a linen made of bronze, where the life-size bronze figures of Joseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus are placing the body of Jesus.
The Tomb
In the time of Christ, tombs in Jerusalem were often carved into caves beyond the city walls and sealed with a great stone at the entrance. These silent chambers witnessed both sorrow and hope, holding the mystery of sacrifice and the promise of new life.
This sculpted tomb wheel, weighing almost 5000 pounds stands as a sacred symbol of Christ’s burial and the miracle of the Resurrection. Hand-carved by Kentucky artisans from ancient limestone, this stone bears witness to both the depth of history and the timeless truth of Easter morning. May all who pause here remember that from the darkness of the tomb came the light of eternal life.
